Hey guys, as many of you know, I’ve been struggling to get by due to a lack of a job. I quit my first job due to very little hours that barely let me make ends meet. My last job had me laid off due it only being seasonal (I worked as a monster for Knott’s Scary Farm). Luckily I don’t have to pay rent to my mom because I have no job, however I still have to pay for phone bills, medical bills/supplies (I’m a type 1 diabetic), and food.

Not only that, but I hardly have any money left in my account.

I really need the money you guys. I don’t want to pay the bank for having an account.

Plus, I still need to get a GED to have a better chance of getting a new job and a new laptop considering I use it to do my artwork since mine is falling apart. I’m needing at least $60 for a GED and a new laptop which will be at least $1000.

Ok so, I need at least $200 for medical and phone bills a month. For food, I can manage with about $200 a month.

I NEED TO MAKE AT LEAST $400 A MONTH. The GED and laptop money would be great, and I’ll be setting aside money for those if I make any extra or if people tip me (thank you to those that have tipped me, bless your hearts). And I’ll even be able to steadily put money back into my savings if I keep getting donations or commissions.

I'll be back for now, expect a flow of art for a while. I'm not sure if I'll stick around. So yeah, that's about it. If the layout here keeps making me feel sick, just go to my art blog and check out my stuff there to keep updated.

I kinda wanna give dA a second chance, but I'm not sure. Its whole deal on submitting art still make me sick and tbh I feel like I'm gonna throw up at how bad it is. There's no spaces with these tags and not only that, but other people get to see the tags; both those things make me really uncomfortable. (I really miss the old layout and submission thing.) On another note, I have a lot of art that I haven't uploaded here and they've been going only to my art blog instead.

What do you guys think I should do?

Does anybody know if deviantart is going to get rid of that hashtag thing when submitting art? Because those hashtags are really annoying, especially since we can't add spaces. If we switch back to keywords or are able to input spaces into hashtags, then I'll start uploading art onto dA again but for now, I'll be sticking to my art blog since at least there I can use spaces when tagging things. Hopefully dA fixes that up, and hopefully they start hiding the tags on uploaded art and journals too.

DeviantArt is starting to look all gross and it's been getting harder to navigate with all these unnecessary updates they've been doing. The site looks like a mess and the tagging system is very flawed since we can't add spaces since it's all hashtags now. It's even harder to find and tag art because of the new hashtags since we might have to use different tags, hence we might overtag, and I don't know which tag to use when looking for a specific piece. In my opinion, it seems like they're trying to turn dA into a social media site rather than an art site. I probably won't be on here very often because of all this, or at least until they do something about the tags because I very much enjoy those spaces like when they had keywords. Otherwise the site is just looking gross and it's hard to work with and whatnot. I'll be on tumblr more often. My main blog is redmod613 on tumblr and my art blog is redmodsart on tumblr. I'll still be checking my messages here daily since my commissions are open because my friends still need help with getting money, otherwise I'll just just be on tumblr. If dA ends up fixing itself up a bit then I might come back and upload art (I have this art folder that says "not on da yet" and its got at least 50 pieces of art).
